there is a huge difference in how interesting a book isfrom a movie. A movie is interesting based on the actors, and how well they portray the character. also the plot of a movie has a huge part in if its interesting or not.
when it comes to a book in order for the book to be interesting the characters have to have certain personalities that draw people in. the story itself has to be very intriguing to the reader if its boring i guarantee the book will never get read, the plot also cant be obvious, there has to be rising action thatleads up to the climax.
